Christmas Greeting Phrases Why Do People Say "Happy Holidays" Instead Of "Merry Christmas" Now?

Why do people say "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" now? - christmas greeting phrases

It's everywhere. Whether in business, the media, even your neighbors now, with the same phrase "Happy Holidays" or "Seasons Greetings" instead of "Merry Christmas" welcomed. Why is this so? Was it an insult when he said: "Merry Christmas" today? Should not everyone who celebrates Christmas a right that is any person who believes in another religion, or hold a Christmas party individual to bring his gratitude for this time of year to express bounded without? Except to add that line of coke dice''''temporadas saludos = D best ever!
Anyways ... I still say Merry Christmas, holidays hapy? No, its dosnt very festive for me!

to show the almost only one way to sort for a few. Happy Holidays is better to say Merry Christmas, because not everyone believes in the religion, the same thing as you. It is a way to say Merry Christmas without offending anyone one way or class.

People say, Happy Holidays, because some people do not celebrate Christmas and you think you can hurt her feelings.
In my opinion, I do not think both are really good.
