Velocity Before And After Pictures Physics.... Help Please Static/friction?!?

Physics.... help please static/friction?!? - velocity before and after pictures

The drawing shows a field of 29.5 kg, initially at rest. Note that the view is facing down on top of the field. Two forces, and apply to the cage and begins to move. The coefficient of kinetic friction between box and floor is k = 0.325. Determine (a) the amount and (b) direction (relationship with the x-axis) acceleration of the box.

2. A skater slides sideways on the ice with an initial speed of 6.83 m / s. The coefficient of kinetic friction between ice and blade is 0.0908 and the air resistance is negligible. How much time elapses before the velocity to 2.91 m / s reduced?

two or I care ... Thanks in advance

I think homework in math and physics makes it all the time. Unfortunately, this is not a direct answer. :)
