With great effort and care. The problem is that the train HO scale seem good, but neither side is expected to work in a large-scale model steam actually - the wheels are driven by trees engines buried inside the body and the arms of the guillotine only because they attached to the wheels. In live steam, the device on the arms that the cylinder power to the wheels and have enough strength, but out of scale with a complete engine to avoid bending. The valve mechanism must be designed and fitted to open the valve in the right position to bring the power and the pressure is higher.
Much better would be to find the plans of the original locomotive HO scale modeling and scale to live steam.
